Never actually going to be online nor able to be used for cloud chat. Just had an idea and made it. Basically I use a text file on my computer to store chat messages and the 6 most recent are displayed here (when online). Press `space` to send a message, it won't do anything though because again, I will never actually activate this. When active though it'll show the last 6 messages sent, all anonymous because i'm too lazy to add usernames and also it'd increase the chance of hitting 256 cloud character limit. That limit is the reason it'll only show the last 6 messages sent. Now that is just the scratch side limit. I will probably never reset the storage file containing all of the messages which means that anything sent will be logged, even if not shown on scratch. None of this information matters though, because the average scratcher will never have the chance to use this. Free form cloud messages is against the scratch TOS, do not replicate and use. Difference between free form and set cloud messages is simple. Free form means a user can send absolutely any message, no limits. Set messages means there are set message presets the user can choose from to send.
