Click the speed button to slow down the orbit speed. Click the distance visibility button to hide the distances. (it will appear again if you zoom in or out) Click the two tab buttons for info on the Oort Cloud and why is Earth habitable. There are settings in the top to adjust the position of the sun on the screen. Hold the up and down arrow keys to zoom in and out. Press space to turn off the music
For the class: My name is S.K This is my project for the science assignment, I chose scratch so I could animate the orbits and it was quite easy to code, and while the distances between the planets are accurate, the distances between the star and the planet is probably wrong, I decided to consider the distance between the star and planet was the distance between the center of the star and the edge of the planet. Now as someone who has coded in Scratch for three years or something, this was easy to code so I decided to add extra features like changing the orbit speed, changing the position of the sun, stars in the background, and hiding the distances. Now one thing I realized too soon was that it had to be 3D so I told my teacher about it and she was fine with it being 2D as long as I include all the information. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the fans: I had a project for science class where we had to build a physical or digital model of the solar system, but, the distances and sizes had to be accurate, I was originally gonna do physical but I decided to go for digital, and of course, it was kinda easy to make. Also, I quit working on GCB, every time I announce something I am gonna make, I immediately get demotivated to make it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- All sources from NASA.
