—- [ click the image to zoom — fullscreen highly recommended! ] scratch obliterated that quality!! yay!! — [ “…we wear the chains we forge in life ” - the ghost of jacob marley - a christmas carol ] - ❄ raaah it’s finished! this is…obviously not the usual cheery Christmas the rest of the TSS felines got, because it seems Ave has been visited by three spirits— the ghosts of christmas past, present, and future. ❄ the ghost of christmas past (bottom-right) represents Vee’s past fear and, bound by the chains of her curse, ever-worsening pain. ❄ the ghost(s) of christmas present (both bottom-middle and top-middle) represents Wavecurrent and Starlight (i’m sure you can guess who’s who) and how very different they are. Portrayed as a supernova and a weakening, shackled star, Ave’s in a constant battle between herself and her old mask…but one can’t be two at once. ❄ the ghost of christmas to come (top-left) portrays the inevitable. if circumstances continue as they are, the fire burning within Ave will ultimately consume her whole…but fate can change, can’t it? ❄ so, bound by the chains of her curse, ave is trapped in her own snow globe. looks like she’s going to need something of a miracle to get out of this one. thankfully, christmastime is known for its miracles, isn’t it? … —-
