This is a little project I'm gonna do :) It's a Warrior cats fanfic, and no I'm not a furry or therian. sigh. I've been wanting to do this for a while, but I can't really draw cats, let alone on a digital platform. Sooo...book form! I realized I could do this after seeing one of @9rainbowtails 's au projects for ToPH. Without further ado, here is the Running From the Shadows (RFtS) prologue! Dark, nearly translucent silhouettes of cats flowed in a pit of starry darkness. They were constantly shifting, morphing into different sizes. Far above the pit, the places known as StarClan and the Place of No Stars lay full of spirits. Below, the living world, where the spirits had true bodies, was bathed in the darkness of night. These shapes of darkness started to froth together, move faster and faster. Swifter and swifter, until it was a mass of whirling outlines. Until, there was none. For a second, in the middle of where the penumbras swirled, the shape of a young, lithe cat glowed. Then it blinked out of the pit, into the living world.
