Ep 7 [Setting, rocky valley with bushes, HorizonPride camp in the savannah] The sun set behind the distant dunes and cliff canyons in the savannah, casting long shadows over the pride's camp. Ice stood on the highest rock, his voice booming as he addressed the pride gathered below. Ice: "Listen to me, everyone. Frost and Nameless have betrayed us. They plan to overthrow our pride and take control. They've joined forces with our enemies and must be stopped!" Gasps and murmurs spread through the crowd. Ice's eyes gleamed with malevolence as he continued. Ice: "They've already tried to attack me, but I managed to escape. Now, it's up to us to protect our pride. We must find them and bring them to justice. They deserve no mercy." The lions roared in agreement, their loyalty to Ice unwavering. Patches, a young lion with a fierce temper, was the first to speak up. Patches: "I'll find them, Ice. I'll make sure they pay for their betrayal." Ice nodded approvingly. Ice: "Good. Remember, they are dangerous. Show no hesitation." As the pride dispersed to begin their hunt, Honey lingered, her mind troubled. She had always admired Nameless and Frost for their bravery and kindness. Ice's words didn't sit well with her, but she knew better than to voice her doubts. Deep in the dense forest, Nameless and Frost huddled together, their breaths coming in quick gasps. Frost: "Nameless, what are we going to do? Ice has turned everyone against us." Nameless: "We'll find a way, Frost. We have to stay strong and keep moving." They continued their trek, trying to find a way out of the sandy valley, the night growing colder and the orange glow of the sun beginning to set. Suddenly, they heard pawsteps approaching. Nameless's heart raced as she turned to see Patches emerging from the shadows, a sneer on his face. Patches: "Well, well, look who we have here. The traitors." Nameless stepped forward, her voice steady. Nameless: "Patches, you've got it all wrong. Ice is lying to you. We're not the enemy." Patches laughed mockingly. Patches: "Ha. Ha. Ha. Save your breath, Nameless. Ice told us everything. You're plotting against us, and I won't let you get away with it." Without warning, Patches lunged at Nameless, claws unsheathed. They grappled fiercely, but Nameless managed to throw Patches off balance. Nameless: "Frost, run! Get out of here!" Frost hesitated, her eyes filled with fear. Frost: "No, I won't leave you!" Patches recovered quickly and lunged again, but this time Frost jumped in between the two, pushing Nameless aside and taking the full of Patches ' attack. She collapsed to the ground, blood staining her fur. Nameless: "Frost! No!" Nameless tried to fend off Patches, but she was relentless. As Frost lay motionless, Nameless felt a surge of desperation. She fought with all her strength, finally managing to throw Patches off by raking her underbelly with her back leg claws.. Nameless: (fierce) "Get away from her!" Patches snarled but retreated, a cruel smile on her face. Patches: "She's as good as dead, Nameless. And you'll be next.".
Patches disappeared into the jungle / forest, leaving Nameless beside Frost's still body. Tears streamed down her face as she gently nudged Frost. Nameless: "Please, Frost. Don't leave me. I can't do this without you." Frost didn't respond. Nameless's heart shattered as she whispered a silent prayer to moonpride Back at the pride's camp, Honey approached Ice, her eyes downcast. Honey: "Ice, I have news. I found Nameless and... I killed her." Ice's eyes narrowed. Ice: "Is that so? And what of Frost?" Honey hesitated, then lied. Honey: "She was already dead when I arrived." Ice studied her for a moment, then nodded. Ice: "Good. You've done well, Honey. The threat is over." Honey bowed her head, relief washing over her. She knew she had to protect Nameless, even if it meant lying to Ice, which might come back to haunt her… Nameless remained by Frost's side, the forest eerily silent around them. She couldn't bring herself to leave, not until she knew for sure. Hours passed, and just as despair began to take hold, she noticed a faint movement. Frost's chest rose and fell with shallow breaths. Nameless: "Frost! You're alive!" She gently shook Frost, who groaned and opened her eyes. Frost: "Nameless... What happened?" Nameless's eyes filled with tears of relief. Nameless: "Patch attacked us. I thought I'd lost you." Frost winced in pain but managed a weak smile. Frost: "I'm still here. We need to move. Ice won't stop hunting us down." Nameless nodded, helping Frost to her feet. Nameless: "We'll find a safe place to rest and tend to your wounds. We're not giving up." They moved slowly, Nameless supporting Frost as they made their way through the forest. Every step was painful, but the knowledge that Frost was alive fueled Nameless's determination. She knew they had to stay one step ahead of Ice and find allies who could help them take him down. As dawn approached, they found a small, hidden cave where they could rest. Nameless gently cleaned Frost's wounds, her heart aching at the sight of her friend's pain. Nameless: "I know this is hard, but we can't let him win." Frost nodded weakly. Frost: "You're right. We have to keep fighting. For our pride, and for each other." Nameless smiled, her resolve strengthening. Nameless: "We'll find a way, Frost. Together." As they rested in the safety of the cave, Nameless's mind raced with plans and possibilities. She knew they had a long and difficult journey ahead, but with Frost by her side, she felt ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. They were stronger together, and she was determined to protect her friend and reclaim their place in the pride
