Once upon a time, a river man roamed, Wandering alone through the caves he called home. He found a town, small and snowy and bright, Full of joy and laughter, a beautiful sight. He simply sat down, gazing with care, As monsters around him stood, unaware. They whispered and wondered, "What brings him here? A man on a boat, with no words or cheer?" But then, without speaking, he rose with grace, And told a dark tale, a sorrowful face. A story so haunting, it struck to the core, Leaving monsters in tears, unable to ignore. When he finished his tale, he vanished from sight, Gone in a flash, like the fading of night. The monsters were shaken, hearts full of dread, What seemed like a tale was now living instead. Their lives flashed before them, hopeless and grim, They begged the great skeleton, to save them from sin. "Absorb our souls!" they cried with dismay, But the skeleton refused, pushing them away. As time wore on, their world grew cold, Friends disappeared, their stories untold. Desperate, they begged, but the skeleton still fought, Until one night, a vision he sought. He dreamed of the end, of a fateful day, When the river man and the skeleton would stay. He saw what was coming, the final dance, And knew then, his time to act was at last his chance. With tears in their eyes, the monsters did weep, They said their goodbyes, the promises they'd keep. The skeleton accepted, their souls with grace, Knowing the end was now in their place. Then one fateful day, the human arrived, The skeleton stood tall, but both were revived. They locked eyes, knowing the truth in their stare, The end had come. For the river man’s tale was no mere story, But a prophecy that led them to glory or worry. And in that moment, the fates intertwined, The human and the skeleton, both now aligned. The monsters watched, hearts full of despair, For the moment had come, the final affair. And as their eyes locked, both knowing too well, The end had arrived—no more tales to tell...no more room to SPARE.
