Change Log: Yeah I’m doing this again because I’ve just been twisting myself into a knot for the past few hours, I may as well be “productive” instead. Presently listening to Heartbreak In The Making by (Dagny?), it’s got pop song that would have annoyed me in childhood vibes, or that I would have heard in a chick-flic my sister put on while I stropped about it vibes. Somehow that means I like it now. Don’t ask I have no answers, I don’t even enjoy pop that much. Right gonna make a Whack-A-Mole type thing. Or maybe just something where cute creatures make squeaky sounds because that’s funny/sweet to my childish side, apparently that’s the vibe for right now for whatever reason. Eh. *** Edit 1: Made Squish. Edit 2: Made score. Edit 3: Cannot keep up with spamming. So don’t spam. Edit 4: Added background & effects, starting on unlock-able features. Need to create anti- spam system of some sort or work out how to accommodate it. Edit 5: Not sure how long it’s been, Christmas time is a busy time & I’ve started a part-time job today. I imagine it’s going to take a lot longer to complete this game than others (Although a lot - if not all of them - are actually unfinished is various ways). Going to start work on some of the art, I don’t think have mental capacity for problem solving for the spam issue today. Edit 6: Added colour changing code, cherry with the ability to have two different animations that alternate per click, a suit with a little wiggly bowtie, I’ve made a new set of eyes and made the original eyes separate from the original Squish Sprite. Edit 7: Lost track of time playing Magic of the Gathering with my brother & now really need to get to bed, it’s 2AM. However I just noticed a potentially helpful detail. Spam clicking is fine, until you need to change Tens & imagine the same is true of Hundreds. So if I can create a system that slows the player at those point only it would be better. Counter point: Spam clicking ruins the animations, it might be better to have a disclaimer/choice at the start so players can choose between accepting visual glitches vs not being able to spam click. I’ll weigh it up I guess. Good night :D
