Practiced by Crownspire, Lumines Rezindism: A polytheistic faith that reveres a pantheon of deities, each embodying significant aspects of existence and the cosmos. Central to its belief system is the veneration of life, respect for ancestors, and a profound connection to the stars and celestial phenomena. The religion is deeply ingrained in the culture of its followers. Rezindism reveres Rezinda, the genderless Ruler of the gods, who is considered the creator of all living things and the world itself. Followers believe that every life is connected and should be honored. Ancestor veneration makes them believe spirits of the deceased guide and influence the living. The stars are seen as the manifestations of the gods, and their movements are observed to glean wisdom and insights into life's mysteries. Deities: Rezinda: The supreme deity, embodying creation and the essence of life. Arozu: The radiant god of the sun, symbolizing vitality, illumination, and growth. Petrima: The goddess of love, representing compassion, relationships, and the emotional bonds between individuals. Gerona: The godling of the home, protector of households and familial harmony. Titondri: The goddess of loyalty, honoring fidelity in relationships and commitments. Fetryi: The god of death, who oversees the transition into the afterlife and the journey of souls. Gender: Male dominated Marriage/Relationships: Monogamy, Consanguineous, Heterosexual, divorce has to be approved, shunned homosexuality (not illegal, but looked down on) Afterlife Beliefs: The dead should be salted and buried with valuables to bring with them to the afterlife. There, they will either be tortured for their crimes or be welcomed by Fetryi and start anew, in a life unburdened by the typical troubles of the living world in the stars. Sacred Texts and Teachings: The Celestial Path is guided by sacred texts known as The Chronicles of the Stars. These texts combine mythological stories of the gods with astrological teachings, offering wisdom on how to align one’s life with the celestial cycles. The sacred teachings are passed down through oral tradition and preserved in illuminated manuscripts, often depicting the gods and their associated constellations. The Celestial Path teaches that by observing the stars and aligning one's life with the cosmic rhythms, one can live in harmony with the gods, find spiritual enlightenment, and ultimately understand their place within the grand design of the universe. Pilgrimages are encouraged. Children of this religion are often named after the cosmos: (Lux, Stellaris, Kosmikó)
