Behold! This is a never-ending beat-'em-up game with an art direction clearly inspired by Fire Emblem. Spent a long time making this, so I hope you enjoy it. • Most video and audio assets come from Fire Emblem Binding Blade, Awakening, and Fates. Other sources include: - Nearly all the music you hear in the game comes from YouTuber Shady Cicada. Check him out. He's awesome. - "Et cetera" music/sound effects from from Sonic 3, Super Mario Bros., and Metal Gear Solid. - Everything else was found with Google (mostly). • There are currently 9 characters total, most with dialogue and sound effects. Each character has a different weapon, though the attacks are mostly the same throughout. Most characters so far swing swords, however Odin uses explos0ive fire magic, which has a cooldown timer. This is so that, even though other characters can use their weapons repeatedly, Odin has an attack that can wipe out a large number of enemies in one shot, but has to time each attack so that he doesn't get hurt between intervals. • For every enemy you kill, your Critical Meter is increased slightly. When it's full, if you press C, you'll unleash a Critical Attack, killing all enemies it touches. Eventually, I'll make it so that each character has a unique Critical Attack, but for now it'll just universally be a giant swirly fireball of death. • At the time being, there are 4 different enemy types, each with slightly varying methods to be defeated, though they all only take a single hit. Most share the same rushing-in tactic, though there are some other types of enemies as well. The yellow soldier swings a large sword, making him difficult to kill without also taking a hit. There is an archer who will stop at a certain distance to fire an arrow at you. There is a sorcerer with sporadic movement patterns who fires homing attacks at you. Each requires a slightly different tactic to take down, but doesn't entirely remove the aspect of killing everything on the map at the same time. • If you play for about a minute or so, the level will end. Whatever score you racked up to this point will be added to the cumulative community score. Once the score is finished adding up, the Infinite Round will start. This part of the game obviously never ends, so it's great practice for building up a quick high score the next time around. • Anna now has a legitimate use in the game! She will no longer idly stand around watching the fight go down. Instead, she'll provide a quick health refresh whenever you may need it. Just head over to her location, and she'll offer you a vulnerary, which recovers 5 health points. This isn't free, however; you'll need to cough up 100 points. This offer is available once in Level 1 and once in the Infinite Round. • Other than the obvious three characters visibly available from the title screen, there are a few other options to choose from. Press 1 to change to the Awakening versions of the three, and 0 to return to the Fates versions. Click the dragon insignia to play as Lucina, and press G or J (and then quickly click on their respective pictures) to play as a grill or John Cena, respectively.
