Check there to learn more about Glade ^^ → As mentioned previously, I’d like to incorporate Glade’s contrasting design into his personality. As a result, I tried to make his positive/negative personality traits reflect each other. For instance: Glade is loyal and clingy; caring and controlling. Furthermore—noting one of his neutral traits—Glade is routine-driven and inflexible. His personality includes both the positive and negative form of the same characteristic, if that makes sense ^^ → How does Glade react under pressure?: Glade would become extremely focused on the task at hand. Although he wouldn’t demonstrate outward panic, he would often ignore those around him. As a result, he would appear very rude. Additionally, he would struggle to stray from his plans. Even if his efforts don’t seem to be working, he would hold on to that idea for as long as possible. He struggles to be flexible in stressful situations. → Glade’s childhood pastimes: Glade would spend much of his time people watching! He loves watching the human customers (although typically from a distance). Additionally, Glade would frequently play with his siblings throughout the day. → I imagine Glade would be very talkative with his family, especially during kithood. However, he’d be much more hesitant to talk to cats outside of the family. He’d appear to be a very quiet cat to outsiders, but very talkative with his family ^^ → Glade likes predictability/structure ^^ He enjoys not needing to wonder about the world, sticking to strictly factual perspectives. For instance, in Glade's kithood, he'll be interested in counting. There are eight petals on the flower. There are two leaves on its stem. Due to his fretful, cautious nature, Glade loves this certainty. During Glade's youth, he'll take many of his parents' beliefs/opinions as facts. However, he'll branch out a little more as he grows, understanding that his parents can be wrong too! → Glade has no interest in leaving the florist shop! He enjoys the safety of the twolegplace. Once again, this aligns with his cautious personality ^^ → I’m considering Glade having kind of a “distant” phase from his family. He’d be jealous of his siblings making friends. He’d express this anger by being more rude/distant with them while also trying to convince them to spend more time with him and less time with their friends. He’d be even more disapproving of his sibling’s ideas than he normally is. He’d do his best to force them to follow his plans, ignoring any of their suggestions. This phase would likely occur during the “apprenticehood” age range. Although kittypets can’t actually be apprentices, I imagine his siblings would begin exploring more around that age. → Noting that Glade finds socializing stressful, and that he tends to act rude under pressure, Glade would appear to be pretty rude from an outsider’s perspective. To his family, he’s a sweet kit overall. However, a stranger likely wouldn’t perceive him this way. He’s speak in short sentences, making no effort to continue any conversation. He’d speak bluntly, too absorbed by his worries to filter his words. And of course, he’d be pretty unforgiving to any of his siblings’ friends (although that’s due to jealously, not stress)
