Agender is a gender where one feels as if they are without or lacking a gender. Those who are may feel as if they are not a man nor women nor anything else, or they might feel as if gender is irrelevant to their lives. Fun fact: The A in agender comes from the Greek á (please note- this is not the right symbol, I couldn't copy and paste it) meaning "not" or "without" so agender literally translates to without gender. Isn't that just non-binary? Nope! Agender is typically seen as a lack of gender, while non-binary is a spectrum that covers any gender that is not boy or girl. Some agender people identify as non-binary, some do not. What pronouns do agender people use? Agender people can use any pronouns, from he/him, it/its, ze/zir and more. Whatever feels the most comfortable. In summery: Agender is a gender where one feels as if their gender does not exist or is unimportant to their life.
