This project calculates the outcome of a drop shot in squash. Set coefficient of restitution and the angle by sliding the sliders. Also, to move the ball, hold down "a" to move it sideways, and hold down "w" to move it vertically, and hold down both to move it anywhere. During your adjustments, it will automatically calculate the initial velocity for the ball to be just above the tin, but still in. To start the simulation, press space. The required speed to return shot is assuming the person is standing at the T (aka. the middle of the court), and immediately starts moving towards the predicted second bounce location, exactly when the ball is hit. The higher that number is, the harder it is for your opponent to get the ball. #squash #drop #dropshot
Idea and code all by me. This took around 2 hours to make total. Thanks for stopping by!
