USE TURBO MODE (shift-click the flag) -Instructions- Draw a line starting above the top line. A thinner line will appear below it, make sure your line goes below it. Your invisibles line will curve around itself on both sides, making two wheels that spin together. Since the top of your line will be touching its bottom, you may want to use the coloured dots to line up the top and bottom. make sure your cursor stays in between the vertical lines or you wheels will be really weird. Adjust colour to change the colour of the the wheels and press space to switch their colours. -Bug info- Sometimes the wheels occupy the same space, but never on the thin line. This is inevitable, only having perfectly circular wheels can prevent this. They are wheels, not gears. If you stop holding down your mouse while drawing, there will be an error. Make sure you are on turbo mode, then wait four seconds or press the green flag. Are your wheels too blocky? try drawing slower. Comment if what you are doing is not working. -Wheel examples- It's a bit hard to draw the line with characters, but i did my best. square: ) ) ) ) circle: | | | | peacock: | |n | | bean: / ( \ ) hedgehog/staircase: n n n n
Thank you to How To? By randall munroe for inspiring this project. (How To? is a book) Here are some sources I learned from while researching how to make this work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eG-z-791_ak https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWWgGk9JU0E https://www.princeton.edu/~timeteam/gears.html
