The war was started when propaganda spread against the government by massive posts of communist propaganda to the residents of Paris. Due to radical influences, the people who opposed the new government were shot and killed causing massive genocides on both sides forcing NATO to keep out of the conflict to avoid being involved in the controversial genocides. With instability in the mainland, a Pro-Brazilian rebel group took advantage of the situation and gained control of the region, looking to unite with Brazil.
