The most casual Mr. Shadow could ever be is when he's talking to his friends, he still does talk in a bit of a formal way (since it's pretty much part of him), but not as much he usually prefers to speak formally to people (non-friends) mostly to confuse them (to which he finds entertaining) rather than speaking casually with them, and also because it helps a bit in striking fear into those who are not considered friends. Speaking formally rather than casually with people also helps with preventing them from finding out his true identity and who he used to be all those years ago before he became... well, the shadow
