left and right arrows to turn, up arrow or Z to move, and X to spindash. if you hold C while spindashing you can snap to the nearest angle. I made several adjustments to the engine. - Made the tiles on the ground more visible to help convey how fast you're going, as in the original project, it was a bit unclear. - increased the max zoom the camera does to make where you're going more visible. - Removed the boost. The boost bar is now a speedometer, and the boost button now has the same functionality as the up arrow key. If you keep running, you'll keep speeding up and enter into "boost mode". keep your pace up to maintain it. - Sonic's turning is smooth, and the turning speed depends on Sonic's current speed. - The Spindash has been changed and is no longer overpowered. It will now cause you to slide if you're moving when you start to charge it. Spamming it will result in you slowing down. it can also be used to maintain your boost mode without moving for a short while. - Various bug fixes
Credit to @Gangstergrape for most of the original engine. In all honesty, I feel like redoing the collision engine would be for the best. The camera moving can cause collision issues and make Sonic clip into walls, which results in him either getting stuck forever or launched out of bounds.
