This is Nex. They were a nonbinary 16-year-old student in California who was attacked in a high school bathroom for how they were dressed. Later, they died, perhaps partly due to injuries, but also due to (not scratch appropriate thing, look it up). They were bullied, and that's why they (again look it up yourself, but you can guess). This is what the world is coming to. No queer youth/teen/even adult should have to deal with any of this, especially not to the degree that some, like Nex did. I don't care who/what you are, remix to spread the word on this. This is NOT right. SAY THEIR NAME Based off a source I found, it says pronouns are (he/they)! DO NOT MISGENDER THEM!!
While many news sources say the peers who bullied Nex and attacked Nex had no part in their death, they are. Sadly since the students who attacked Nex were first years there were probably little to no repercussions for their involvement. They did have something to do with it, I'd say directly by bullying Nex and causing them to suffer, and having to take the medicine they had to in order to not feel the pain they caused them which later sadly made them die.
