The entrance to Peltedstar's den was a large dip in the dirt with a few of the roots of the tall willow tree curving to create something like a frame in which to climb through. The rest of the roots create somewhat of a shelter, protecting the inside from rain, snow, heat, and cold. Alluring willow leaf strands draped lightly around, fabricating a sort of consoling sanctuary where, when the weather is just right, it becomes a bright and sunny environment. But today, the wonderful willow looked exactly how Peltedstar felt; sorrowful and despondent. Blazestripe's auburn, russet-striped fur sagged, still slightly damp and heavy because of its length and density, whilst Oliveheart's dark sage colored fur was barely still moist, as her hair was much shorter, and much more thin. Even so, their fur was shiny and well groomed, though duller than normal, at the hand of the rain, of course. But Peltedstar, in her distraught state, had disregarded her appearance entirely. Her hazel coat was messy and matted and completely lacking of its glossy and washed look. She sat there staring at the floor, not even looking up when the two she-cats entered. "Uh.. Are you alright, Peltedstar?" Oliveheart asked. Peltedstar didn't look up at all, and seemed as if she didn't even see or hear the two cats. "P-Peltedstar?" Oliveheart stepped forward nervously. "Of course I'm not. Your children are back-stabbing, double-crossing villains! .. And Deepshadow.. He's just like her.." Oliveheart's fur bristled hearing these incriminations, but she calmed herself down, trying not to overlook Peltedstar's feelings. Oliveheart puzzled at Peltedstar once more, saying, "Who's 'her', Peltedstar?" Blazestripe stepped forward edgily, as if she could sense that Oliveheart was asking all the wrong questions. "No, you don't need to answer that, don't worry, Oliveheart didn't-" Peltedstar looked up quickly, fur bristling. She roared angrily and leaped at Oliveheart quickly, wrestling her to the floor. Oliveheart yelped and Tried to gently roll Peltedstar off. But, seconds later, Blazestripe was horrified to see that Peltedstar wasn't just a little upset. She was bitting and scratching full force, spreading Oliveheart's blood along the den floor. Blazestripe shrieked, trying to separate the two. Peltedstar breathed heavily, obviously very afraid, realizing what she had just done. She hyperventelated, while Olive heart lay almost unrecognizable.
