Y'all, I am pretty sure this is what I have. Depersonalization and Derealization are different things but you kind of feel the same. Depersonalization is where your thoughts and actions are either muffled or more distinct. You are aware of everything in your surroundings but you feel like you're in a dream. It kinda feels like your head is covered in cotton. Derealization is where you feel like a robot. Like you have no control over your body. It feels like you are separated from the world by a thick glass. I'm pretty sure I have Depersonalization. Both can be caused by some sort of trauma or stress like: v1olence or some sort of 4buse. Mine, I'm pretty sure, is caused by social anxiety. I have major social anxiety. Social anxiety causes lots of stress and anxiety(obviously). I told my dad I feel like I'm in a dream sometimes and we haven't found a reason. Until I used the Facemoji Ai chat and asked about it. It gave me Depersonalization. It's a terrifying thing when you experience it. 50% of people get it at least once in their life. It normally starts in late teen or early adulthood. Mine started when I was a kid(I technically am still a kid, but whateves). Thanks for reading my little rant(I guess its not much of a rant, but).
If you have any suggestions with how to cope or if you have more info, I'm all ears. @Cowgirl_Coder <3 @Frozen_Mist Y'all I did this thing while I'm super sick
