Me when I lock in for two months and a half B) hit flag x3 times or more for the best timing Anyways. So. The actual animation on Procreate Dreams turned out fantastic, but importing this was an actual nightmare. I think it took... two weeks? This was theoretically and ironically supposed to be posted on Valentine's Day (it’s funny because one of the characters in this is an AU of Eros, the Greek god of love)— which was already late (coloring was actually heck-) but of course, it didn't work out. Also, some of the frames just... didn't upload. If you look at the costumes, you'll notice lots of missing frames near the end. I'll be working on getting those in. BUTTT This is probably the biggest (as in most effort put into) fully colored animation I've done, as it took up 2 GB of my poor only 64 GB iPad. (guys procreate and procreate dreams themselves take up like 30 GB.. 0_0). I'm pretty proud of it! When it's on Procreate Dreams, it's very smooth and nice. ..Not so much scratch, but ah well. HAHAHA I did another map part of a song from EPIC.. this one I like more though :) Guys if you haven't listened to EPIC you SHOULD IT'S SO GOOD RAHH
Scratch destroyed the quality once again.. ToT -- The characters are Eros and Hermaphrodite! ...Which, I'm just now realizing, are (technically?? maybe??) fandom? Hopefully, this doesn't cause too much trouble as this is from an AU I made up. For stuff like that, I typically count characters like them as OCs (as I've developed them so much that they are Eros only for the sake of being the god of love and whatnot.) In the AU, Eros is banished to Crete and forced to live as a mortal for a bit (whoa it's apollo all over again--). He disguises himself as a bard and ends up meeting some of my other OCs and is sort of a side character. Throughout all of it though, he's trying to return to Olympus. At some point, his brother/sister, Hermaphrodite (in this AU, Eros' father is confirmed to be Hermes) comes down and tells him how to get Zeus to let him be a god again. That's what this map part is. Agh again I just realized that this is maybe partily fandom?? (is greek mythology a fandom?? :`D) forgive me i'm sort of an idiot for not thinking about that till now as i'm posting this ToT -- omg I simplified my design for Eros so much and yet it was still so painful-- If you notice a glow-up on the wings after the first second or so, it's cuz once I started doing lineart for this, realized I'd forgotten how to draw wings, and then did a five-page study of wings in my sketchbook (it was mostly that many pages because WHO KNEW WINGS WERE THAT FUN TO DRAW--!)
