Yeah, A LOT has changed ===============INSTRUCTIONS============== Move - WASD, Arrow keys, Joystick (mobile) Sprint - Spacebar Healthbar currently does literally nothing (no mobs). Most Level Editor features are tied to no. keys- [0 - Toggle Level Editor [1- Layer 1 [2 - Layer 2 [3 - Layer 3 Layers 1 & 2 behind player, 3 in front (used for roofs). [4 - Tile Tracing (moving to another tile in the overworld shows the corresponding tile on editor palette). [5 - Collision Points ( you can add collision points by clicking/dragging the mouse over empty ones, and doing the same for those with collision by holding X ). COLLISIONS ONLY WORK IN PLAY MODE TO ALLOW EASY EDITING. [9 - Reset Map (DO NOT PRESS THIS ACCIDENTLY). ['C' (Overworld) - Selects tile under cursor. [Player controls are used to scroll tile palette when cursor is over the palette, and overworld for player. [Click on a tile to select it. ================DEVELOPMENT============= I literally had to crop out around 250 different deltarune tiles from a tileset I got (CREDIT: KlunsGod and TheSpritersResource) The Kris animation was made by DOA687 on Deviantart. The original spritesheet had 8 frame animation for all 4 directions for Kris, Susie, and Ralsei, but I wasn't prepared to splice all that, so I reduced it to 3 frames. ==============UPDATES (FOR V1.1)========== >Cool new cutscene at the start. >LOTS of new tiles (>250 in total now!) >More animating tiles >Collision bug fix (it works now) >Settings menu under editor that shows keybindings >A (kind of) Main Menu with cool transition to world >AUTOTILING SYSTEM!!! I managed to transplant the autotiling from the tile scrolling platformer into this. Its really cool. >Tile Tracing works both horizantally and vertically now >Large Brush option (custom feature): Allows you to fill large spaces with tiles easily >Collisions work, so Pin editor is now usable. >New pallete colour scheme (secret if you press the right no. key, tell me in the comments) >Bar at bottom of screen displaying party members health for no reason at all.-\_(II))_/- >Mouse pointer trail that is actually supposed to be Kris's soul in Editor mode.
