My DTA entry for The Sentinel: Meet the happy little boi, Tucker! Personality ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tucker is a well-mannered and compassionate German Shepard, but he's also sometimes silly. He takes his job as a watcher guard very seriously and is also very loyal. He sometimes has too much loyalty though, and can be a bit clingy and overprotective. Rank/Social Standing ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He is currently a watcher guard (commonly referred to as a sentinel) for the royal family. Backstory(1/2) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tucker was once just a regular civilian. His family wasn't all that famous, and just worked jobs like carpentering or leather working. They were a good family though, still are, and Tucker is very grateful to have them. One perk about having a family that works jobs like leather working though, is he got to meet a lot of foreigners. He always had to ask where they were from, and what it was like, and always dreamed of seeing those places for himself. Then, it was announced that the royal family would be in his city to attend a festival that was happening there. During the festival, Tucker was the only one who spotted that a couple of dogs were cornering a small clouded leopard. He alerted some of the guards to the dogs, and assisted them in arresting them. Impressed with his observational skills and fighting ability, the royal family decided to make him a royal sentinel, but that meant that Tucker had to leave with the royal family when the festival was over. He and his family were saddened by this, but his family still supported him and Tucker was excited for his new job because he finally got to see the castle! When they arrived, Tucker spent the next few days getting used to his surroundings and getting to know all of the animals who lived in the castle. He met another guard at the castle, who was a tiger named Devon and they became fast friends. He then started training with the captain of the guards, a large Hound named Galven. After a few months of training, Tucker was ready to become a full fledged sentinel. He was given a bell and a cloak by the royal family in celebration of his hard work, and he's worn them ever since then. Notes ~~~~~~~~~~~ *This world has many different species of animals, not just dogs *Don't worry about the fact that he doesn't have a nick in his ear, it will be addressed in another entry *Is it ok if this guy has this long of a backstory? :')
