i haven’t been on this site in ages but i think the universe called me here for a reason today because i think im in love with this design. this will not be the only entry.
i’m incredibly happy with how this came out. it’s nothing even close to what i normally draw but it’s for once actually very similar to what i was picturing in my head. something i think helped me was making a little collage of the character’s vibe before starting the actual art (click or press space to see that. sorry for the swear words. if it becomes a problem ill censor them)((I HAD TO REMOVE THIS CAUSE SCRATCH REMOVED MY PROJECT)). and i also used a reference (click or space again for that). the only thing is that i wish i could have gotten the overlays to be a bit more bright and eye strain but i couldn’t make it look right so hes a bit softer and more gentle than i wanted colors wise. the only major changes i made was getting rid of his big fluffy hair (because im literally so bad at drawing hair on animals sorry) but i kept his little side bang pieces, and i made him a dog rather than a cat. i’ve named him scooter. im definitely gonna do more with him but it’s currently almost 3am and i need to be heading to sleep soon. thank you for creating this lovely design and good luck to all! i always make good art late late at night when i haven’t drawn in 3 months.
