In preparation for the new year, I finally redesigned Honeybee! She was essentially my first OC, once I was aware what that actually meant, which is why her old design was so basic and common. However, being the overly nostalgic person I was, I was very hesitant to fix her up. Honeybee is now based off of the mason bee, which is why her palette is so different. - - - - - - What do you guys think? She’s very different now appearancewise, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there are mixed feelings. Due to the fact that she is now based off of an entirely different species of bee, I have been considering a name change as well, which can be found inside the project.
