The next step for Pollux Software. Although bearing the PolluxOS name and branding, Next (working title) is a completely new version making heavy use of a certain design tool, this time themed around the mobile/tablet market as opposed to desktop last time. In future I'm looking to set up a development hub for updates on project progress as a lot of people have been doing that, in this case bit like a real-time version of Pollux News. But that'll take time - so for now, have this announcement trailer as consolation. Happy New Year too, by the way.
Some of you might have had questions as to what direction that PolluxOS was heading after the cancellation of the original "PolluxOS 2" project. Well, here's your answer. Being completely honest here: it has already been a troubled development process. The originally planned project began in May amidst exam season, and although I survived with good results, the project at the time didn't, and was subject to being scrapped - twice - meaning that real work has only been ongoing for about two months. For this reason, questions about release date will probably not be the answer that you were expecting (there isn't one). But things are happening, yes.
