I absolutely loved all the designs in your DTA, sheep moth was my favourite so I had to enter <33 I made Prof. Luca's design anthro and gave him some accessories but tried to stay close to the original design! ❤︎ Entries - 1. Traditional art/sticker Some ideas I've got for their backstory is that Professor Luca works as an entomologist at Sunnyside Surf, a character universe I'm developing for one of my two stories! Basically he lives there for his job, which is studying tropical moth species. Because Luca has done extensive research on insects, he is allergic to certain species (I researched this and apparently this is an actual problem with some entomologists). Edit!! More added: He is currently trying to find a missing species of moth along with his science team (either a real species or I'll make one up!). Also I've got this idea that before Professor Luca moved to work at Sunnyside Surf, he used to study and research sheep moths (the actual moth species lol). Hence-why he has an allergy to them and was forced to change jobs to looking at other species of moth and moving to Sunnyside Surf. I've also got this short comic idea that another one of my characters, Rutile, says "So you're basically allergic to yourself?" as a joke to Luca being allergic to sheep moths etc. And another one where Professor Luca and his scientist team receive a report on the moth species sighting in Mocha, Rutile's neighbours yard (trust me this will make more sense when I release their character refs) and arrive only to watch Rutile spraying a moth with a bug spray can as they attempt to catch it in their bug nets (luckily this is not the right moth).
