Congrats on 1.2k! I'm trying to improve on my composition skills, hopefully this drawing doesn't look too crowded. The DMC project was so detailed and I adored Haizhe's design so I entered! The jellyfish tentacles in her design were a challenge but we got though [sort of]. I went for a comeback teaser / promo poster vibe on this drawing. To be honest, I was indecisive on what song to chose for the project. At first I thought vocaloid would fit Haizhe best, but I couldn't find any good songs in particular that would click. Then I went for come c-pop songs. Sadly none I found really conveyed a message that worked with the drawing either. After some searching I found an electric guitar cover of "A Sky Full of Stars" by Coldplay. The song is calming, and I thought it was as close as I could get to the feeling I wanted atm + I adore coldplay's music. Since that cover was a bit basic, I just went for a female cover of the song instead. It admittedly didn't match all that well either, but I got tired of searching so uh it is what it is I suppose. It's regrettable that I didn't capture the seriousness in her personality TvT. I know I complain about this nearly every project but the image quality destruction on this site is CRAZY. Scratch absolutely ruined it ha, if you want to view a higher quality version you can look on pixilart.
