IF YOU CANT HANDLE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.-----------------------------------------------------------+ :..In a world with beings akin to scratch mascots. Demons and beasts ruled, decimating any and all villages that stood before them. Ravaging on the wild life, leaving the once peaceful landscape torched in agony. The population dwindled over time, and as a cold winter soon followed after the first few months of war. the mascots were left with no other option than to retreat into their caves. Which had been specifically designed to camouflage into the mountains, in one of these many caves resided scratch, one among many other mascots that had been in hiding for months now. He was at the time a commander of general forces. Being the head of planning major operations, battles, and curating routes around the beasts. And within the time he and his comrades, (Tera-head of artillery-Nano-co leader of special operations-,and Gobo-scavenger) had devised a new plan to arrive out from their caves. And charge forward to the main land harbors. As the months passed during the planning process, Tera kept telling scratch how dangerous and difficult this charge would be. Constantly telling him, “are you sure..?” Whenever he’d solidify a new position. And eventually this got to him. He understood Tera was only looking after him. He understands how much stress everyone was under, but “thing's must be done..” he had said to himself…as a civilization under ground. It’s law that all get physicals and physic-evals every 5 weeks. And these evaluations would be all under the supervision of Tera. And over the months she noticed how much scratch seemingly out the weight of the world on his shoulders, all of his responses tied directly to his drive of leadership and complete disregard for himself in battles. So when she heard of this risky and dangerous plan, she was terrified she’d loose another friend. And she couldn’t bear that, not again. She wasn’t gonna let this chance slip through her fingers, “not this time…”. The day of the charge had arrived, and Tera had devised a secret plan to flank scratch and the rest of the squad off track towards another cave site. But because of the layered plans the entire team eventually split off and became confused, the charge was disastrous. And Tera was forced to watch on as her companions died to the demons in battle once again. Gobo being brutally stomped out by beast right in front of her eyes. And as that was occurring. Scratch yelled out to her for help, as he was battling the biggest beast within the horde..”WARP-VEIN”(a mutated turbo warp beast), but before she could reach him. It was too late, as the monster ripped him in two… -after the battle- :After the battle. Tera and the remaining members of her team had found new base at an abandoned cave site. Little to no food and or resources were available, and everyone was devastated from the loss. Nano had asked Tera what caused the failure in the plan. And for a moment she was going to tell him about what she did as an attempt to “save” everyone. But..how could the team forgive such a thing?. Because of her actions they had lost 67% of the team, “it’s my fault”, she constantly had thought to herself. It kept her up at night with nightmares of scratch screaming at her. If anyone found out they would surely kill her, hell.. maybe even eat her. As for some weeks they had no food, so..she had curated one.last.plan…scratch would be back. But….he wouldn’t look the same, for over a month. Tera dedicated her time to building a robot from scratches remains. Being made from the red-scorched metal from the lands. And the essence of his soul, lastly adding a moldy red cape formed from his flayed skin. And it worked.. -KATROBO- :Scratch had awoke from a dream-like slumber, in front of his new. Yellow tinted eyes was positioned Tera, looking at him with a face fixed with wisteria and joy, despite the jagged, nasty body that she had trapped scratch within. And for years, she had kept it hush-hush to scratch and the others of what she had did, the other parts of the team simply accepted what scratch had become. Not asking questions about how this happened, to them..scratch was back..and that’s all that mattered. Even if he didn’t know how horrible he looked. For years underneath the earth he never saw his own reflection. The only hint that something was wrong, being how cold his body constantly felt, every step sending a new shiver up his spine. Like the soul of winter had resided in his body, eventually. For no apparent reason, his colleagues had brought a new leader to the team without his knowledge, he had knew after the failed battle in the main land he had gotten slower overall seemingly out of nowhere. But it was no cause to..somewhat replace him, he was a bit annoyed with the group. But he met his new teammate with open arms..
-continued- :As they were a cat too. He had found familiarity within them. But he slowly noticed…little things, how cautious they acted around him. It pricked at him…why do they never let me out anymore?, why do my legs ache under my cold skin?, why is my leadership being disregarded!?..he was fed up. And with this, his envy towards his new colleague grew, it was like ..he was their new “scratch”. As if they got….”bored of me…like a toy in the bottom of the box..”.he lingered on this thought. So one night when everyone was asleep, in the dead of night he crawled out from the cave base. For the first time in what seemed like eons, he saw the beauty of the moon. Before him was a deep, melancholy puddle from the melted snow. On his way up he had brought an old picture of himself and the crew, as he stepped forward toward the puddle. He had this picture tightly gripped in his metal hands, …he leaned..and sat down in front of the puddle. Slowly dipping his hand into the due, as he did the moon reflected off his arm in a dance as beautifully as the stars above him. He lifted his hand out from the small pool and watched as the dripping hit the water. He leaned closer. He saw something he didn’t recognize,…he metal face glared back at him. A reflection of his face, he perked back in utter confusion. He clawed at his face. Met with no feeling. He stood up for a while, staring at the water for a couple hours. Slowly realizing the lies that had been his life for the past months…years….in his shock he had dropped the picture and it flew behind him. After a while, he heard footsteps behind him….”how long, have you known?…” He said with a deep, shackling voice that cut through the ambiance of night. Tera was speechless, she simply couldn’t get a word out. Too many thoughts, she was overwhelmed by the tension…all she could say was, “…I’m sorry…”, and with that he turned around. His eyes glowing a new deep red, Tera tried stepping closer but as she did scratch grabbed a rock close by. Threatening to hurt her. Telling her to get the others, and bring them outside. As she slowly walked off, scratch ran up behind her. And stoned her to death, his mind was blown with feelings rushing through his robotic mind. His brain actively glitching, all was left was his envy of his team mates, the anger. …”how long have they known.” ….they were all killed by the morning, hung by their heads pinned to the stone walls within the cave. OTHER STUFF-+ :why is his other arm gone?-Tera never built it. Lying to scratch that he had lost it in battle :what happened after?-he basically becomes a shell of his former self, sinking in his sadness and rage(due to his brain rotting in the metal) :and yes, this is pretty #epic ————————————————————————— Art by me! -space to see other stuff- #art #stories
