Welcome back to Waffle's Random Ramblings! Honestly didn't know what scene to make for this one, so enjoy my chosen team of victi- I mean, lovely and capable Scratchers who I've sent to fight Shade on level 16. (more on her later). Today's theme will the turn-based battle game from a few months back! A few months ago I gained a surge of motivation to work on it, and well, I've made massive progress!! I've basically reworked most of the mechanics from the ground up (such as the status effect system, ally/enemy stats, and more) while also adding a ton of new features (such as a new card buff feature, infinite rounds, shop, etc). With all the new stuff, of course I'd experiment with enemies. The one you see in this project is the first boss enemy I've created, Shade, who specializes in high DoT (damage over time) to cripple your team as they take their turns. I've also added 2 new Scratchers to play around with, with more Scratchers planned (if I ever get to making them :sob:). The Scratchers I've added should probably be obvious from the thumbnail alone lol. But we have @AwesomePeopleOutTher, who's a single-target damage dealer, and @_jasperwashere, who focuses on AoE burst damage and offensive support. Oh yeah, did I mention I've added ultimate abilities? I've honestly been having too much fun using @pokemaster1010's ultimate, which basically transforms her into the Flash for some time and supercharges her attacks. I should probably get back to grinding in Bee Swarm Simulator, it's Beesmas and I'm SUPER close to getting the Planter of Plenty. ...Wait? What's that? AE stuff? Oh. Honestly, most of what I've got planned for it is likely too ambitious and big for Scratch. I will probably settle on snippets and random stuff or whatever. toodles for now :D
