Ardwin, being a Baldwin 10-12-D, was originally sent to england to help with the war effort of World War 1, they came out mostly fine, they were sent to the NWR, it was originally going to be only a few months, but then WW2 started and the Cordwin Valley had it's own problems. Ardwin kept to themselves mostly, not really talking to any of the other engines, silent as always. James and Edward would find a way to get used to their presence, but they seemed rather skittish, scared of something, usually jumping when either James or Edward tried to talk to them.
