I got this new djent machine for Christmas. It came with a rather thin string set (for a 7-string), but (at the time of uploading this project), I had just finished restringing and play-testing it. Model: Ibanez RGD71ALMS (25.5-27" multiscale 7) String gauges: 12 16 26w 34 46 58 80 Tuning: Drop E (E B E A D F# b) Audio: War Eternal - Arch Enemy (C Standard tuning) As The Stars Fall - Myself (Drop F; original is in Drop G) The 80 gauge low E string tapered too late (like a string for a 28" scale, just like the 85 that preceded it) and was too thick to fit through the machine head, so I had to unwind it.
