Hey guys ;-; So… guess I owe you a BIT of an explanation. “Where did you go?” “Were you bullied?” “Are you alive?” “Are you even still drawing?” My child, sit down by the fire while I recount the past two/three years… OKAY so first things first, a recap. Where am I now? I graduated high school (wow!) and am now in college with the big leagues (yikes). I live far from where I grew up so there was a major lifestyle change (ie. learning how to adult). Not a single day goes by without drawing, I am an artist through and through. I’ve also started writing a book (yippee)! While it’s years away from being completed, it’s a huge milestone for me. Why did I leave you guys: I’ll be honest. I was stupid. Hate to bash myself, but it’s true. While I was having the best times interacting with different artists on this platform I started to ignore the blatant side effects that a SOCIAL platform can take on a person’s mental health. Thanks to my family, I started seeing my lovely therapist and learned a lot how to deal with anxiety, depression, and other poor mental hang ups I was having. Don’t worry! I am in a much better mental state than I was before! :D As for my current content… I’ve grown out of the Warriors fandom. Absolutely no hate here, I just didn’t find joy in that culture anymore! And that’s ok. I draw a wide range of works now, some social works and mostly personal projects. Some could say I have finally learned human anatomy! :O So what does that mean here on SCRATCH? Why waste your time? I hear ya. I just kinda up and left (trust me I see the hundreds of notifications). For that I apologize. Moving forward, I will start delegating responsibility for any unfinished projects or cancel while I’m here. If there is a project of mine that I have abandoned in my 2-3 year leave, please help me out and let me know. If you know someone you trust to handle the project handoff, reach out! As for me, this will be my last “project” most likely; wrapping things up here to leave on a good note and not leave people wondering where I am. So, before I go, I’ll introduce myself one last time: Hi! My name is SL! I am nonbinary and use they/them pronouns. I am 19 years old and am studying Biomedical Sciences in the US.
