Ik Ik …. I know u always hate when ppl leave and sometimes think they’re being dramatic but I promise u this is not that. This is for safety reasons. I recently had this P1n acc and almost got scammed and almost leaked out crucial personal info to a random scammer. TWICE. Socia media is not safe for a kid, my parents didn’t know I had this p1n acc, bc I thought it was ok to have one. It was two times- random ppl using celebrity names and spamming ppl. I can’t do this anymore. I want my family and I to be safe. I have been crying for the past couple of hrs bc I realize how d-mb and stup!d it was to believe that scammer. I almost gave them $50 (which is not a lot Ik but still). I’m so scared now and honestly I don’t trust anybody now. I KNOW all of you pooks are real ppl, but it also k!lls me that I’m friends with online ppl. I have an inst@gr@m acc, and my mom manages that. It’s the only soc!al media I’m allowed to have for a couple more years anyway. I’m rly sorry to all my followers and to everyone that appreciated my work. I have gotten over 50 messages in prob the last MONTH asking me not to leave. Ik you all don’t want me to do this… trust me, I want to stay here, too. Believe me, this is my decision I’m making. Im not even allowed to be on scratch anyway. I can’t spend all my free time wasted on scratch and being friends with ppl that I won’t ever know irl. I’m scared. I’m doing this bc I’m scared. Not bc I rly want to, ok?? And I don’t need ppl pretending to be sad that I’m leaving. Oh also BTW THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. HERE ARE ways u can protect yourself, your money, and your family by avoiding and noticing scammers. 1. If this person messages you, check three things. -Their Username: do they have a check mark that verifies them if they’re under the name of a celeb? -Profile: if they are a celebrity, do they follow many ppl? Not many do. If they are a celebrity, DO THEY HAVE FOLLOWERS? That is a big one, celebrities should have a ton of followers, bc they are most likely very well known. -Messages: do they have bad grammar and spelling issues?? Prob don’t trust this person. Many celebrities should have proper grammar and are instructed to write clearly. -Are they asking for m0ney?? Celebrities don’t need m0ney! They have a lot of m0ney themselves. Now rly don’t trust them. 2. Scammers like to tell the person to not tell anybody abt the scam. 3. Scammers ask you for your personal info.DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO. 4. They message you out of the blue 5. What they say sometimes sound too good to be true. 6. If they are under the name of a scammer, I’ve learned to ask them to follow my inst and see if they are rly them. If they say no or smth rly suspicious don’t trust them. This is not just a life lesson for me, this is a life lesson for everybody out there. Be careful who you trust. Be careful on sociaI media. Ily all so much.
