Yes, this is possible. It's just really hard. Try to touch the flag in the bottom right of the screen. If you touch the walls, you get sent back to the start of the level. Once you get to the purple block at the bottom right, it will send you to level 2 where your eyes hurt, and then traverse that to get to the flag, where you win. This works with WASD and arrow keys.
Note: This is the hard version of the maze thing, where there are 20 evil balls trying to hunt you down. Each one gives you 15 hits on the hit counter, and if you get to 10,000 hits you die.
