The two lived there for as long as they could remember. The shack was located at the edge of a Khelkan forest. But yet, their caretaker was brutal. Adan wasn’t their father, as Thanatos and his brother, Psuche were orphans who lost their parents. But, Adan wasn’t the one who caused Thanatos’s search for vengeance and search for Psuche’s k!ller. begins now: On a chilly autumn morning, Thanatos and Psuche were collecting shells and unusual rocks to trade in for money. As a usual day in their life, they both wore their sandals and went down to the ocean shore. The Khelkan-Sierrkan war had just started, and the military rarely allowed townsfolk to be around the shore. So, their day was decent. So far. Unbeknownst to anybody, the reason for the dispute was for one being spreading rumors and fake messages. And that being was searching for trouble that day. A stranger to Thanatos and Psuche happened to pass by. (oh and btw thanatos and psuche’s parents were legendary alchemists who had alot of info) Psuche, wearing an old hand-me-down satchel from his father, was recognized by the “Night Warrior” as they called him. Seeking power and containing greed, the Night Warrior attacked Psuche. Thanatos, being the older one of 14 and Psuche being 12, they could do nothing. Psuche yelled for Thanatos to run, and he, after a moments hesitation, turned and escaped the scene. Thanatos told everyone he could about the situation, but when help arrived at the shore, it was too late. Psuche was k!lled and the satchel was stolen. Thanatos then used the information his parents gathered to resurrect Psuche, but half succeeded. As an equivalent exchange, he gave all his possessions except for the shack, a cloak, a belt, one pair of clothes, and the minimal of his parent’s research for Psuche to be able to talk to him in his dreams. And from then on, Thanatos swore his revenge against the Night Warrior.
