hey lovelies! i'm here with a special post that may get a part 2... today i used an ai lyric generator to write a song for me to sing! i used fr♡︎eshb♡︎ots.♡︎org to write a pop song about having a crush on a boy but being too scared to ask him out. (like me!) i came up with the melody, then recorded small parts at a time, strung them together, and posted them here! the chorus had a little glitch (in every one, cuz i'm too lazy to record it multiple times) so it's a bit sped up, but i put lyrics so you get what i'm saying! thanks so much, and watch out for a part 2! xoxo, lin
Whispers in the Hallway (Verse 1) I’m standing by the lockers, Heart racing like a train, Remember sixth-grade science, When I spilled my drink, so lame. You laughed and called me clumsy, Faded jeans, a crooked smile, Now it feels like forever, But I'm still stuck in denial. (Chorus) Oh, oh, I'm just a shadow, Hiding in the light, Caught up in the whispers, Of a crush that feels so right. Will I ever gather courage, To say what’s on my mind? Or keep on dreaming softly, With love I’ll never find. (Verse 2) Friday nights at the diner, Milkshakes and our favorite tunes, You told me 'bout your dream house, Underneath the silver moon. I wanted to lean closer, And let my fingers touch, But fear wrapped around my heart, And I was scared so much. (Chorus) Oh, oh, I'm just a shadow, Hiding in the light, Caught up in the whispers, Of a crush that feels so right. Will I ever gather courage, To say what’s on my mind? Or keep on dreaming softly, With love I’ll never find. (Bridge) In the hallways filled with laughter, Every glance feels like a spark, I play the scene a thousand times, But words get lost in dark. Maybe I’ll find a moment, With the courage to be bold, To tell you that I like you, A story waiting to be told. (Chorus) Oh, oh, I'm just a shadow, Hiding in the light, Caught up in the whispers, Of a crush that feels so right. Will I ever gather courage, To say what’s on my mind? Or keep on dreaming softly, With love I’ll never find. (Outro) So here’s to growing up, And learning how to fall, With every heartbeat louder, Maybe I’ll break down the wall. Whispers in the hallway, Hope’s a sweet little thrill, I’ll take a step tomorrow, And tell you how I feel.
