♩♪♩♬ It's nice to have a friend ♬♩♪♩ - chapter one “Nikki!” exclaimed Evelyn, running over to hug her friend. Nicole laughed and threw her arms around her. “You’re slower than Draco on his broom.” Evelyn laughed, Draco was in fact, fairly bad at quidditch. “I’ll be sure to tell him that later.” She remarked, the two girl laughed and pulled apart. Nicole Crow(Nikki) and Aurelia Zambini(Aura) had been Evelyn’s best friends her entire life. Along with Draco and Aura’s brother, Blaise. ୨୧・・・・୨୧・・・・ By the time they were ready to board the train, the rest of their group had assembled, two of them exchanged farewells with their parents. The other three(Aura, Blaise, and Lynn) were just happy to escape the pureblood world of parties, dinners, and seeing terrifying “former” Death Eaters in their own homes. ୨୧・・・・୨୧・・・・ “How was your summer?” Niccole asked, once the five of them were all squished into the chosen compartment. Aura glanced at her brother, then the window. It was fine,” She answered. Evelyn, who had just finished loading her luggage, looked at Aurelia questioningly. “Care to expand?” The twins looked at each other, Aura began to speak, before being cut off by her brother. “It was fine,” Blaise started. “Our dear mother,” He said bitterly, “Was away for some sort of nothing. We had the house to ourselves for most of the summer.” Aura nodded along with Blaise’s story, yet something still seemed off. “Anyway,” Nikki said, trying to change the subject, “What house are you hoping for?” The question was obviously directed at Evelyn, since the others had already been sorted. Evelyn considered it, she hadn’t thought about the sorting since her conversation with Draco when the letter had first arrived. “I don’t really care,” She stated. “But,” She started, putting a posh voice over her usual british accent. “My father would be most displeased if I was sorted into anything but Slytherin.” The group laughed at her mockery, and discussed frivolous things for the rest of the trip. If only things could stay like that.
yayyyy new chapter <3 if it wasn't clear, Evelyn is starting Hogwarts in their third year, so she hasn't been sorted yet listened to people watching + it's nice to have a friend while writing most of this!! hopefully the next chapter won't take as long :/ *insert time travel giggles* *stares into darkness because it's been three months*
