Name: Baridi (means cold/ a chill running up you spine) Gender: male, he/him Animal: Hyena Okay so I would be using Baridi for a book/ comic called Dryland that I'm in the process of character designing. Baridi would be the love interest of Tuli, the main character. I chose seventh heaven as the song for a voice ref and it connects to him as a character. Backstory: Baridi was born to a high ranking mother, but that does nothing for him because he is a male. He had a sister, named Hatima who was going to be the alpha female and take her mothers rank when she was of age. Hatima asked for Baridi to accompany her on her first sunset hunt without her elder ranks. While on the hunt they get into an argument and split up ending in Baridi going home without her. Yet on the way home he heard her screams behind him. Even though he ran as fast as he could by the time he got there there was nothing but bloody tufts of fur and her traditional feathers. Heading home with devastating news their clan rejected him and chases him out blaming for the death of his sister upon his paws out of jealousy. Three years later he meets a strange hyena, named Tuli. (sorry it's rushed and the writings bad.) Also the art was done on my computer touchpad, but in febuary i'm getting an apple Ipad and pen, so the lines will be smooth and the details will def be better.
