Hello! It's been a hot minute, and I only have a few new obsessions to show for it. Mainly, the man on the cover, Kavi Sunset. Kavi is an Oc I made for Dungeon and Dragons (If you don’t know what D&D is just look it up, it's fun) Anyways, here is some stuff explaining Kavi's backstory and the art I drew. 1. This is the first few drawings I did of Kavi. I loved trying out different hairstyles, but a lot of these feel too happy. Kavi is a Teifling, which means that he had an ancestor who was a demon. I decided agenst most of the designs because it looked like he was too put together. 2. After drawing the previous page I decided on what I liked, messed around a little bit, and pretty much set Kavi's design in place. I also used this time to draw emotions. Kavi is not having a good time right now. His son, Lal, resantly d;ed after being sick almost his whole life, he is VERY broke, and he is constantly exhausted. Kavi is struggling a lot right now and is trying to pull his life together, but he isn't doing a great job. 3. Here is where I first started to sketch out Kavis full body. I wanted to base his clothing on Indian clothing with a cloth sash that used to be Lals blanket. I really liked the large pants I saw in my research, and I thought that a loose shirt that diped down his shoulders would make him look more disheveled. I also designed his tail. I love tails. 4. Next we have Kavis official reference sheet. We also get my first drawing of Kavi's fiddle. Kavi is a Bard, which means that he casts magic through performance. His can play the fiddle as well as sing and used to be a mildly popular performer until he quite to take care of his son. 5. Head shot and Prp of Kavi. He's a sad Boi. I made this for his D&D beyond account. 6. I'm spending more time on painting and tried drawing this. I really liked how it turned out and shading it was fun. I really like his eye bags. 7. This is my most resant drawing of Kavi, and it is also my favoret. I imagine that Kavi is playing for a small group of friends here, as it is some of the only times he is happy. And that's all!
