Functional but sound yet to be added. *** Change Log 2: 23 - Well it’s 6 AM I didn’t sleep, I should sleep now idk why I’m not. It’s like there was more I wanted to do but I’d already done stuff so I’m confused. Now I feel like I should try stay awake but I know that won’t work. Despite that I feel hungry & yet I don’t want to get up to go get food because it’s cold. Sorry I’m babbling, I’ll work it out. 24 - I was debating adding some extra difficulty if you get past either the 1st or 2nd House. Like a magic potion obstacle you have to avoid or it causes visual issues. I really rather liked the Pixelate Effect on my Pog game, and I want to play around more with Effects like Whirl & maybe Mosaic, I think it would be really cool. Then I’d add an arrow to the End Screen if you get to that point & it will show more, like how long you lasted while Cursed/Enchanted, and maybe some other stuff. I could even add flying cosmetics you could collect, little Hats, and Closet with everything you’ve unlocked…I’m just avoiding working on the sound aren’t I? 25 - It’s 8 AM now. Potions added, visual effects added. 26 - Getting cursed now hides the Game Mode switch from you, getting cursed while in Hard Mode will mean you are stuck in Hard Mode until the curse fades. 27 - Its either been a day or a couple, I just adjusted the colour of the button’s orange state because I’d done it originally in night vision mode & it had made it look more orange than it actually was. Should have seen that coming really. 28 - I have an option to enter Hard Mode, I should have an option to enter Cursed Mode by choice. Maybe after getting it by 1 or 5 bottles you can do it by choice, or maybe after going past the 3rd house. I was about to manually turn it on myself at the start, and then I realised this, some players might want to. 29 - Been tinkering a bunch I can recall what I’ve done. Cursed scoring is now added, will always add an extra 10 points though & I can’t work out why. I do have an extra 10 points added if you win in cursed mode but even removing that didn’t fix it. Very odd but it’s hardly a problem of any real magnitude, just odd. 30 - I worked out that the extra 10 is coming from a piece of code I added & forgot about which gives you 10 points for getting that far. I think I recall adding that, however I have forgotten where it is & it’s possible I’m making up in my head. I really should probably try to track it down but regardless I’ve chosen to leave it be rather than code it to remove the extra 10 points again. 31 - Wow yeah I definitely made that up in my head because that’s not what’s happening. I’m really confused now. 32 - It looks like by removing the code to tell it to add the Total to the Bonus Total- (And I just fixed a spelling error, oh dyslexia my beloved) it stopped adding the Total to the Bonus Total twice. It’s fixed, it was broken before because somewhere in the hell scape that is my organisation free code is a piece of code already telling it to that. At least that’s my guess because I don’t where it is. Anyway in short, fixed. 33 - Added a fun value inspired by Toby Fox, is as on the tin, sometimes fun things will happen. But I’ve only added two things so far & need to add more to the bonus section of the game. Then sound. Going to bed for now, I have a long, long day tomorrow.
2025!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH THATS RIGHT I HAVE no particular feelings on this. Look after season 25 it gets a bit repetitive ya know? I feel like the show runners are just churning these out for passage of time, there’s no heart in it these days :( Big Sad. Honest. No I don’t what I’m on about either. ANYWAY LETS MAKE A GAME OR SOMETHING, yeah? (So that song from last time? Two weeks ago now I guess. Lasted that 1 day, don’t like it anymore, I was having a moment with that. Today though vibing with Cosmo Sheldrake, got a few songs I like. Right now I’m listening to “Old Ocean” the vibes are very chill, which I can always do more with) *** Change Log: 1 - I have no clue what to make. Gonna scroll through the Sprites see if anything jumps out at me. 2 - Gonna try make a Flappy Bird type game. What could go wrong? 3 - Made moving obstacles. This game is going to be incredibly easy lol. 4 - Obstacles have been improved. Game now poses challenge. 5 - Background adjusted, Bat sprite added, game over method begun implementation. 6 - Bat can now flap. Game can technically be played somewhat. 7 - Need to stop the bat flying when you loose. Some visuals being added for the start of game. On 5% though, might stop for a bit. 8 - Went on charge and decided to carry on. Bat now has loose animation. Title screen finished. 9 - So I’ve been listening to Old Ocean on loop for 3 hours now… huh. Think I’m gonna switch songs lol. 10 - Added a switch you can use during the game to make it harder if you’d like. Gonna add a visual to indicate what the change is. 11 - Hard Mode warning visual added. 12 - Just got given an absolutely wonderful plate of food (Which actually primarily what I cooked yesterday, so I suppose I did good. Hah! Yay :D) I’m gonna go eat that now. Game needs a loosing screen, timer, high score system, then sound. But for now, I had switched over to listening to I Did And I Don’t And I Do again by Cosmo Sheldrake, don’t know how long, it’s whatever I loop my songs too much. And now I’m gonna go watch the Hermitcraft Tour, it’s 7 hours long & I think I’m only 3 hours in so far. 13 - I’m debating adding some “Home” s and extra points for time spent on Hard Mode. Homes are spots that you fly to end the game in a win state rather than loosing inevitably, at the end screen it will say which home you stopped at, be it the 1st one or 5th or further. I’m gonna at least try. 14 - It is now possible to stop at various Homes in order to end the game in a win state. There is a timer and a separate timer for when your in Hard Mode, even if you exit Hard Mode it will count time again the moment you re-enter. Need to improve the timer, add proper end screens, add a total score at the end, and high scores. Oh yeah and then sound. 15 - End Screen added, has to be a bit delayed because it wasn’t playing ball otherwise. Bat’s nose changed to the colour orange to match colour of variables in the end screen (it’s a shame we can’t just change that the same way can change the read out display actually). 16 - Adjusted End Screen some more & added global variables for all categories. 17 - Changed the title screen to be green themed instead of white & kinda of regret it. Idk if to double down and change the end screen too, switch it to orange or just leave it. 18 - Orange added to the button when pressed & title of the End Screen. 19 - Oh boy oh boy, it’s 2 AM, okaaay. I guess it’s dumb to mention here, I actually had really really bad day yesterday. As in got screamed at bad day, no I actually didn’t do anything wrong this time and also the person in question wasn’t- I don’t feel comfortable saying they weren’t at any fault because that’s not accurate either. Point is, I was gonna go live with them and now I’m second guessing, which is upsetting because I’d started getting my life together & I really like some of the new aspects of it. I’m not okay, not terrible, just I’m not okay and don’t want this to be me trying force myself to be. However I am glad my day today was spent doing this, that yesterday didn’t stop this, that even though I was really scared yesterday & I can’t say with confidence I did everything right, I was always making clear choices & I didn’t shut down, I didn’t scream back, I was in control of myself then & now, and that I’m glad of it. I haven’t broken down, I’m not okay, but I haven’t broken down, I can be happy about that I think. Anyway good night. 20 - I got all the way to the second house only to discover a flaw in my code.
