Pretty last second entry but I guess that procrastination just kicked in smh To give a run down on the story between these two, it starts with a wannabe scientist moving into a home by the woods in a very secluded town. The scientist (Who’s name is Basil) had been discovering more and more strange things in the woods that they lived at. Deeply curious at what it all was, they had ventured deep into woods following the critters and creatures of the forest until the scientist came across a cave. The cave was a strange cave. It gave off mysterious and fading memories vibes. Determined to find out the reason as to why the cave gave off the vibes it did, (and maybe even hoping it could help them find out what was with all the strange creatures they had been seeing) they marched into the cave. When Basil entered the very chilly cave, they ended up stumbling across and picking up a carved rock in the shape of a heart. They lifted it to their chest and when the rock absorbed itself into their chest, Our ghost buddie Xylo was awakened from their slumber for someone had disturbed the unmoved environment the cave was in and had somehow matched themselves to our Xylo friend. Now that Basil had accidentally attached and bond themselves to Xylo, they were very freaked out when the ghost had approached themselves to the scientist. Because you see, Basil had a thing about the supernatural not existing and how everything one way or another was and is able to be explained through science. And a ghost appearing before them doesn’t really sound like anything their textbooks and studies have ever taught them about. Now Xylo here was very tired of humans right now. They weren’t the most social person out there. And all they wanted currently to continue their slumber because they were actually having a pretty epic lucid dream. But no matter what their perspective or first impression on the other person was, Xylo explained to Basil that because they had picked up and lifted the heart shaped rock to their chest, the two were now bound to each other and couldn’t be apart from each other farther than 15 feet because the two were now officially under a curse. Now flashforward like a week or two later, Xylo and Basil uygybhjbhjbhjb I need to finish this description
1. Basil’s Ref 2. A fullbody of Xylo 3. I think the first art I did, just Basil finding a cool bug 4. Basil is now small and squishy 5-8. Ok, so for context I was originally gonna make a small interactive like game where you could chat with others in the form of Xylo, and these were the heads that Basil would have like to the side of their text box when they would speak. But it kinda got abandoned as I kept getting distracted but other things 9-10. Like I said previously this was from that abandoned game, but this would be the body the player would move in. Basil has a body because he would eventually follow you around after you talked to him or something. 11-15.Some SkEtChes~ 11. Probably the cleanest sketch, just the two chatting 12.
