hello and welcome to thornclan's very own patrol rolling project! this is where you can offer your character to be on a patrol! :D _________________________________________ rules: - read sotssrp rules for basic irp and oorp things. - no fighting or drama in patrols unless you contact me first (all people involved in fighting/drama must consent as well) keep in mind that there is a pg to pg-13 limit to violence and things of the sort. (things like gossip or cliques are fine, as long as things don't get too out of control.) - homophobia, transphobia, religious intolerance, racism, sexism, and ableism are not permitted under any circumstances. however, cats may dislike a cat because of where they come from, within irp reason. keep this irp only. - no power playing! keep things realistic. your cat shouldn't be able to catch 524 rabbits or magically be able to fly. - if your cat is going to die on the patrol, you do not have to ask anyone for consent or contact me! however, if your cat is going to be killed by somebody on the patrol, then you have to ask me and anyone involved if they are okay with it. - keep deaths and blood/gore at a pg to pg-13 level. don't go into extreme detail on how your cat dies/gets hurt. - patrols /DO NOT/ count towards your characters' crush/mate threads count! - breakage of any of these rules will be reported. _________________________________________ form: your username with the @ | cats name | age | rank | do you want your cat to be a patrol leader? keep in mind the responsibilities! | anything else i should know (is there going to be violence/drama) note: cats under 20 moons cannot become a patrol leader. kits, pregnant or nursing queens, elders, the sick or the injured cannot apply for patrols. _________________________________________ q + a q: how do i get my cat on a patrol? a: simply comment in the correct section! (the current date slot) if you're lucky, you'll be added on a patrol. additionally, you'll be sent a message about what you'll be doing, who you're with, as well as your duties in said patrol. q: what types of patrols are there? a: as of right now, there are hunting patrols, border patrols and herb patrols. q: what does each patrol do/bring back? a: hunting patrols are for feeding thornclan. what prey you are looking for as well as the amount depends on what your patrol leader decides on, since this really doesn't change anything irp. any cat in the patrol can bring back prey to the prey-pile.* border patrols are long but often fun things, as you refresh border markings and check thornclan territory for anything that might become a hazard. (such as falling rocks, snake dens, etc.) your patrol leader should report these things to either the leader or deputy of thornclan.* herb patrols is exactly what they sound like: bringing back medicine herbs to thornclan's medicine cat(s)! what you find and what amount is rolled, as this does affect things irp. all herbs can be carried and given to the medicine cat(s) by anyone in the patrol.* *: note that this does not have to happen irp! just contact whoever is needed on their profile and it should be taken care of from there :] q: how do i become the leader of a patrol and what responsibilities do they have? a: the leader is randomly picked based on what you fill out in the form! the leader of a patrol is responsible for leading everyone in their patrol, keeping everyone safe and accountable, giving orders and reporting incidents back- if needed. if the leader becomes injured during a patrol, anyone can step up and lead the patrol to safety. you as the role-player, will be expected to be active. (if there are no patrol leaders available, i will fill in that slot as the deputy :]) q: what if i/my character doesn't want to/isn't able to go on a patrol? a: as long as you aren't a patrol leader, just don't show up lol; note that it may affect how your clanmates see your cat though! irp reasons can be offered to change that (ex. my cat got sick/hurt, or a family event happened with my character) oorp reasons are not needed! note: if you're a leader of a patrol, and suddenly you aren't able to lead it, please contact me on my profile (preferably before the patrol leaves) and i can roll for a replacement patrol leader or fill in the slot myself. q: how many cats go on a patrol/how many patrols go out per moon? a: the number may change depending on how things go, but usually 2-5 cats! depending on how many people sign up, there may be many patrols! if the number is uneven between the amount of cats and the amount of patrols, they may be added to a random patrol. if you have any other questions, please contact me on my profile!
