so many of you know that i havent been so active very lately…. um i didn’t have much time to really make something worth posting since school started and i haven’t had time to rot on the couch ever since- ANYWAY what im trying to say in the quickest and least time consuming way is that i cant make the time to have scratch as my life support and ive decided to part ways, as hard as it is :’’’D -x Table of Contents -x ~ 3 reasons i left ~ a little explanation ~ final goodbye ~ HOWEVER ONE MORE NOTE -x 3 reasons i left [ 1. I got bored - honestly i just felt like moving on XD its been around 3 years since i joined and i feel like i should be doing something else by now. and i fr feel so old on a kids website like bro im a boomer now 2. Scratch sucks - i feel like its pretty obvious scratch wasnt always the most wholesome site, but i meant it sucks for posting art. the community guidelines support remixing of other people’s projects which doesn’t work for me as an artist, since all my projects are art related now, and i dont want my art being used without perms. it also is a site made up of 9 yr olds so the guidelines were formed around that sort of age range. theyre not guidelines made specifically to protect art. if im gonna continue to post art, it would be somewhere on insta or deviantart that are made more around protecting an artist’s posts. 3. Scratch Still Sucks - other than scratch’s guidelines being made for 9 yr olds, the audience itself is made up of 9 yr olds who are either obsessed with furry art (nothing wrong with that, lemme get to my point ;-;) or skibidi sigma max lord gen alpha stuff… which isnt a bad thing (sort of) but for platforms like da or insta it would be a wider range of possible audiences who arent limited to just a few types of artstyles. like most of the time, detailed art is favored over simple but semi-realistic art, and id rather move to a site that favors both. ] -x explaining [ I feel like maybe a couple of you might be wondering if that was the only reason or if i was doing this to draw attention, bc i know quite a few people do that- see, im so smart i thought ahead of you brainless haters /jkjk, i have no haters >:] xd i cant stand my own dum jokes fr lol this is getting me nowhere like its not even a joke its just me being dum- i cant promise that i wont come back, this might just be a long hiatus (it depends on how i feel), but i can sure promise i wont miss any of you ok sorry that was mean (its mean but i didnt take it out because it adds dRaMa) that brings me to my next point… what about the people who might somewhat miss my annoying conversations? the people you may call friends :/ WELL you “friends” were the only thing really keeping me from quitting, so congrats you prolonged my stay on this cursed website :D thanks so much for the support and encouragement youve given me these past years, i really will miss you guys <3 ] -x bye guys [ bye. im not one for long goodbyes, ok? writing this took long enough already ] -x BUT. HOWEVER. THERE IS A PLOT TWIST [ you really thought i'd leave scratch just like that? well youre wrong! i have an ota collab im still doing and a dta that im waiting on for results. i CANT leave just yet, and i'll be waiting for those two to finish. if im not wrong, i also have a couple "friends" who might want to say goodbye during that time so i will check in once a week or so to say my farewells :D and i might take any questions you have abt anything tho i dont know why youd have any AND THIS MIGHT NOT BE MY FINAL GOODBYE real ones will know i started the crappiest comic on scratch a couple months ago (maybe even a year ago), and i still feel like continuing it. the only thing stopping me is that it takes way too long to do it myself, and doing it myself means crappiness core. so i have hired an assistant to help with storyboarding and stuff like that AND HER NAME IS (2, 3, 4, etc. she has many accs XD) FROM HER ACC SHALL I KEEP POSTING my crappy comic for all of you to see :D i promise chapter 2 wont be as bad... xd oh, and yes. i have 2 crappy pieces of art for you just to show how much i care about you. not much because both pieces of art are 0 effort + 0 skill ] real ones read the entire thing and saw this secret message- you get a cookie :)
