"Shelly, how long?", I panted as I leaned against the wall. I opened my eyes and found myself staring into two red eyes. I stumbled back, but there was no more place. "Woah, hold on there. Patience", a cheerful voice said as steady hands dragged me back to balance. I looked back at his eyes, they were blue now. "W-were your eyes red?", Shelly asked. "Okay, out with them. They already know", a young female said as she walked front and rolled her eyes. "Know what?", I asked. "That we are vampires", the boy finished. "Oh, I didn't know but thanks for the knowledge. We'll use it wisely", I remarked as I took out my sword made from Celestial Bronze. "Sword fighting? Not really our thing but if you really want", the boy drawled. I hated him already. "I- You know I am not afraid to use this, I hope because I won't hesitate", I said as I took my stance. "It's night, babe. We rule", the girl said. I studied her petite frame. Extremely pale skin, wide yellow eyes and shimmering black hair. "Night or not, I am always ready", I replied smirking. The girl began to transform, her eyes turned red, and then her fangs came out. "I didn't think that was exactly a good idea, Myra", Shelly said. "Yeah? We can't do anything 'bout this now", I remarked as I dodged, sliced, parried. The girl burst into silver dust. "Something new for once", Amelia remarked as she took out her shield from a necklace and blocked an attack made on me by the boy. "Gods, am I scared?", I remarked as I began to fight with the boy who had somehow summoned himself a sword. "You should be. I can drink your blood you know", he said. "Yeah, Totally. Blood is the only thing you survive on. Imagine not getting to eat those yummy fries and burgers and pizzas and pastas", I remarked while fighting. Talking, or rather taunting, was my strength. "I do get to eat those too, you know", the boy remarked. "Even me", a voice chimed in. "That should not be possible!", Shelly remarked as she began fighting the girl who had re-formed. I struggled to keep my defense up. "Has someone ever told you that you are merciless?",I said trying to distract the boy. "Ain't going to make me go easy on you, girl", he replied back."Who said anything about that?", I asked and laughed nervously. "I am not foolish, please", he replied back. I sliced, and almost managed to hit him in the heart when he countered and my sword flew off. I fell back on my back, and he kept the swordd at my neck. "Surrender or your friend here won't ever get to speak again", he said, I studied him with a scowl. He didn't look nearly like a vampire. He was...more human. "Bitter defeat, huh?", he taunted as I grit my teeth. "Well, atleast it's more of a victory than yours", I replied as I kicked his sword out of his hands, rolled out of his reach and stood up. "Let's go, Shelly", I said as I pulled her hand and we started to run. Once again. "I am getting so much deja vu right now", she said as we entered a hotel. "True", I muttered as I remembered the last time we entered a grand hotel. All because of my sweet mother Athena disapproving of my friendship with Shelly.
