spoilers for previous warriors books incoming (bit of a long rant) ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ So, I've never really made a project like this before. Heck, I have barely made any projects in the past two years. Anyway, I decided to write a bit about my thoughts on what I know about CS thus far. First off, we know that the main characters of the book are two elders that have been featured quite a bit in previous arcs and super editions in Leafstar and Tawnypelt, and a new character in Moonpaw. Starting with the elders, I personally liked Leafstar's character in Firestar's quest. I thought she was easily the best choice as leader of the potential options. To be honest, I haven't read Hawkwing's journey or Squirrelflight's quest in a while, but I don't remember having strong opinions on her in either one. I do think that she has been the SkyClan leader for a bit too long, and maybe we could be due for a change in leadership. Overall, I am interested to see how they expand on her character. Now time for Tawnypelt. I always thought Tawnypelt was an interesting and complex character, all the way since TPB. She was my favorite of the cats to participate in the Great Journey in TNP, and I appreciated her loyalty to Rowanstar whe Darktail attempted to seize control of Shadowclan. I love that she isn't ever afraid to speak her mind, and even spoke out against her son in the whole RiverClan fiasco. To summarize, I 100% am excited to see Tawnypelt's POV. Finally, we have Moonpaw. Moonpaw is a wildcard here, as I really don't know too much about her. I know she is a chimera, which is where her name comes from (her face looks like a half moon). I've been attempting to avoid spoilers, but I do know a few things about her character that I would like to keep to myself to avoid spoilers for whoever views this rant. Anyway, I am excited to see what they plan to do with her character. In conclusion, I am truly excited for CS. There has never been a bad warriors arc in my opinion, so I always have optimism whenever a new arc comes out. I think having an arc with a mix of old (literally) and new characters is a great idea, and I am excited to see where it leads.
