Drag the sliders, press space to play a scale. You can also hover over the dot to hear each individual note. Small sequel to the previous project, though this time we're constructing tunings based on the pattern of half and whole notes in a major scale. This pattern usually goes WWHWWWH, where a W is a gap of 2 notes and a H is a gap of one note. There might already be a term for this, but I choose to call those "large" and "small" scale intervals, so that it applies for any edo. If you want your scale to sound similar to 12edo, your large interval should be around double the size of the small interval. My personal favorites sound-wise are 3 and 2 (19edo), 5 and 3 (31edo), and 7 and 4 (43edo). I also really like 9 and 5 (55edo), but it's too many notes for my personal preference. you probably don't want your small interval larger than your large interval. conclusion: 31, 43, and 55 are better than I originally thought, but 19 is still one of my favorites
