IQEA? what are those? :DD (herbytrytoactuallyfocusonacomicchallenge) "lesmots" stands for some stuff; I made up that name in june (6 months ago!) when I first randomly got attached to this idea for a day; that quickly faded lol But I had to get this out there around the release of changing skies qwq I really wish Tawnypelt had become leader, so I'm doing a mini au comic where she does (+a few extra changes that I've always wanted to see!) (I'm not hating on the writers by the way I'm just doodling out my own fantasies of sibling leadership dynamics and other stuff in a series that I do love even though it has a bunch of mistakes and retcons xD) 1. floof bean; I really like his graphic novel design so the face scribbles and firehead remain, I want to pat him :0 2. the leg anatomy is questionable qwq lol he has no shine in his emo eyes 3. I will probably go back and redo this because the back stripes and the tail stripes don't match huh ;w; 4. I tried a different style for this one (using an old thinner not textured brush) but she is definitely way too detailed for me to consistently draw in a comic :P 5. forgot to add his eye shine but he's still a happy dude yay 6. uhh the tail scar is because I had messed up the lineart and got lazy so made that a scar or something?? He's trans in this au; got a haircut /hj 7. I wanted to add some of sandstorm's colour onto her but I dunno if that makes her look weird 8. again tail scars from lazy lineart; looks pretty nice on her though 9. I wasn't sure how to depict Jayfeather's blindness mhmm because it's described that you wouldn't be able to tell he's blind but also visually a lot of artists do different pupils or something to display it so I went with a two-toned eye idk might change later 10. His back looks like melted caramel ToT 11. ..gingerbread Leafpool 12. yay I like her expression (oops the eye highlight is off because originally I had drawn Cinderheart with those eyes and being lazy I roughly pasted them into each other's files!) 13. -but I do like these two; they have their differences and similarities and overall are cool 14. Sometimes these refs have simple standing cats with questionable anatomy, sometimes I dunno why the cats have special poses, but their anatomy remains questionable. Flametail has more white because I read a thing that blue eyes come from a lack of melanin which affects their fur as well so usually cats with blue eyes have some white fur too; this series isn't really focused on realistic cat stuff and nor am I; a less convoluted explanation is that Flametail looks cool with some white fur! 15. I could have added more scratches :0 16. Her paws are questionable again qwq; I searched stuff up on that blue wiki and they didn't have a confirmed Dawnpelt eye colour so I asked my sister and she decided her eyes should be green. 17. generic tabby lol. I found it weird when making his paws a bit too obviously heart shaped 18. testing out Tawnypelt stuff. Oh my the standard deviation in her designs ahaha. here mostly is me trying to figure out what orange fits 19. Tentatively decided on this? Using a colour palette was inspired by 's WL; 's Incline provided more motivation for me to do this lol (specifically, "I'm not going to outgrow this site without at least trying to make a warriors fanfic.."); I also love the plot of 's EA and I'm very impressed by their consistent schedule! And of course erin hunter warriors yay. also drawn on Krita :D I want to get better at more interesting cat poses, eye shapes, expressions, muzzles + more but I'm going to overwhelm myself if I list them all xD
