I've been, existing. As I was just allowed to grow out my hair if I promise to take more care of it- I go and have JROTC which forces me to cut my hair and be in "regulation." which kind of just, sucks. I wanna get out of the class but at the same time, I'm a role model in that class and I genuinely can't leave :sob: I've been wanting to grow out my hair FOR SO LONG NOW. Even before my big "holy carp, I actually feel this way." I wanted to grow out my hair and now that feeling has only increased. I've been trying to grow out my hair to be at least shoulder length cause, that'd be nice. Welp, I REALLY need to like, grow out my hair or just. Try talking to the person in charge to see if I can have a special exception but- I also feel really out of place asking and then being the only "male" to have long hair and be able to get away with it.
