This is for the cutest pet contest <3 Read notes and credits for some fun facts! *RAY IS NO LONGER ALIVE March 14, 2017: In the morning he was fine. During the day he had a stroke. That night he was put to sleep. Some of these facts aren't 100% correct now, due to the time passed since I made this project. We got a kitten on June 4th (2017)! He was near death in the shed of the abandoned house we live next to. He's doing well now and his name is Max ;D *AVA IS ALSO NO LONGER ALIVE March 16, 2018: We put her to sleep in the morning bc she was experiencing organ failure after a recent diagnosis of diabetes :(
✮ They are both domestic shorthairs ✮ They are not related ✮ Ava is 13 years old, Ray is 15 ✮ Ray is COMPLETELY deaf :( ✮ Ava is extremely lazy, Ray used to always be running around when he was younger, but not so much anymore ✮ I think I've spoiled them with soft food ( Oops! ) ✮ Ava is an inside cat, Ray is an inside-outside cat, we used to keep our door open so he could come in an out as he pleases... until Ava got out once, we finally found her after a day hiding in some bushes in our neighbor's yard. We stopped keeping our door open then. ✮ Ray is addicted to rubbing on the corners of things xD ✮ Ava is way past addicted to her water. She splashes in her water bowl with her paws, she stands in it, once I even caught her LAYING in it. She doesn't drink it correctly either. A couple of times while she's standing in it she'll bend down and drink it, and sometimes she'll stick her paw in the water, stir it, and then lick her paw, but most of the time she just lays her chin in her water bowl and moves from side to side with her neck in an odd position. She almost ALWAYS has a wet chin. ✮ Ava always guards her water bowl whenever Ray is in the kitchen to keep him from drinking her precious water. ✮ She growls whenever her water bowl is empty. ✮ Ava can't meow correctly. ✮ Often, Ray will look up at you with begging eyes when you're holding food. ✮ Ray was found as a kitten in my mom's bushes during a huge thunderstorm. When he was brought in our house for the first time, he was soaking wet. My mom decided to keep him and started bottle feeding him milk every day. ( This was over a year before she was pregnant with me lol ) ✮ We adopted Ava from an animal shelter for my 10th birthday. ( I'm 12 now ) ✮ Ava LOVES music! Whenever she hears music playing, she runs to the source of it. ✮ They are both the love of my life :)
