This is a sprite gallery for my upcoming horror game called Wendigo Woods. Story: One day you were sitting at home, when you realise you need money for the brand new gaming console. You run into the lounge room, grab the newspaper and start looking at the jobs. Two options: watching paint, or Night guard at the nearby forest, Wendigo woods. Your Grandpa warns you about the dangers in the forest, but you just brush it of like he's crazy, which is probably because he is. Now the last thing you can remember is arriving at the forest. You lay in clearing, a cabin ahead of you. Now you must figure out what to do, alone, scared and in the dark.
I made the art and animated it myself. The Wendigo (bottom right) is inspired by Canadian and North American folk stories, likely natives mistaking a large deer for a monster while hunting. I have always found stories about the Wendigo fascinating, and I got interested in @Noobs52Scratch's upcoming horror game, so I thought to make my own about the Wendigo. The game is planned to be released sometime in April- June. I will add more art soon, so keep this for yourself if you are interested.
